Talking Turkey with Archibald Rutledge

Come out for a day all about South Carolina’s official game bird: the wild turkey! We’re partnering with the National Wild Turkey Federation, Horry Georgetown Technical College, and South Carolina’s Department of Natural Resources to talk wild turkey with games, demonstrations, and talks about this bird. We’ll have games for kids, a talk from DNR biologist Charles Ruth, and experts on hand to talk about regulations, preservation, and all things turkey. We’ll also have our turkey call kits available, so you can make your own replica of Archibald Rutledge’s turkey call! Contact the park office for more info at 843-546-9361. Tickets are $15/adult and $7.50/child.
