Former University of South Carolina and NFL quarterback Connor Shaw, now a community activist, is hosting a series of “Shaw Camps” throughout the summer to engage youth in physical activity. The football camps are designed for young athletes of any level who want to learn the sport, improve their skills, engage in friendly competition with peers and have fun this summer. Drills include fundamentals and mechanics, speed and agility drills, and more. The final Shaw Camp of 2019 will take place in Charleston on July 20.
Molina Healthcare of South Carolina, the Children’s Trust of South Carolina, and Colonial Life are proud sponsors of the 2019 Shaw Camps. Molina Healthcare has provided football scholarships to its young members who have completed a well-child check up within the last year. At each of the events, Molina is providing healthy snacks such as fruit and granola bars, as well as fans, shirts, and more.
This event is open to the public, but registration is required. To register, visit Shaw Camps’ website at https://www.shawcamps.com/register/charleston-sc.
