GoCo Events is known for producing very popular events in the Charleston market, like Bacon & Bourbon and the Charleston Dragon Boat Festival. The upcoming Charleston RumFest is a merger of their favorite things: cocktails, zany fun, food and fundraising for local cancer survivors.
The guests at Charleston RumFest, at Memminger Auditorium on Saturday, October 14th, from 7:30pm- 11pm won’t be passive observers. The night encourages them to adopt the spirit of fun and dive right in. Guests will be treated to games, surprises and pirate-themed mischief, including:
- “Drink the Plank” – The Caribbean version of the Shot-Ski meets Kraken photo booth.
- “Bacardi Cave- Follow the Bat” – An exciting new light show that gets you in the Caribbean mood.
- “Knot So Fast” – How many knots can you tie in a minute and can your partner escape?
- “Blue Chair Bay Dance Party” – Who has the best Caribbean moves?
- “Pirate Dice” – A dice game that gets more entertaining as the night goes on!
- “Spin the Wench” – Dizzy bat meets pirate sword.
Food lovers will enjoy a night of delicious pairings from Charleston’s most creative chefs, alongside dozens of global rum distilleries, music, and innovative entertainment. Inspired by the flavors of the Caribbean, local chefs have been instructed to create exotic flavors that test the imagination.
