The City of Charleston Office of Cultural Affairs invites visual art submissions for inclusion in the 2019 MOJA Arts Festival Juried Exhibition. Festival and exhibition dates are Sept. 26 – Oct. 6, 2019. This year’s exhibition, juried by local artist Alvin Glen, will be held at the Cannon Street Arts Center.
The MOJA Arts Festival is an 11-day, multi-disciplinary celebration of African-American and Caribbean culture, produced by the City of Charleston Office of Cultural Affairs in partnership with the MOJA Planning Committee. MOJA’s wide range of events include visual arts, dance, gospel, jazz, poetry, R&B, classical music, storytelling, theatre, children’s activities, traditional crafts, ethnic food, and more.
