    Voter Registration Drive

    The Charleston County Board of Elections and Voter Registration provides one-stop voter registration. County residents who visit one of the drives can register to vote, sign up for photo ID registration cards, update address and name changes, request duplicate cards, request absentee ballots and more. Current voters can update their address and information, sign up for absentee voting and more. To find out if you are eligible and what information you need to register, call 843-744-VOTE.

    ~Greek Social: Join the Moncks Corner NPHC for our Greek Social at Stars and Strikes Family Entertainment Centers and a night of other fun activities! Our “Greek Get Acquainted Hour” will be from 8-9 PM.

    Saturday, September 14th
    ~Greeklympics: 10 AM-2 PM – Calling all Greeks and the rest of our community! Come watch members of the Moncks Corner Pan-Hellenic Council fraternities and sororities team up to play and compete in fun childhood games! Cornhole, sack race, tug of war, and so much more! There will be food trucks, kids’ activities, a jump castle sponsored by ZYS World House of Fun, and community vendors! You can learn more about Greek-letter organizations under the National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) umbrella. All spectators are asked to bring canned goods to donate to our chosen charity, the Lowcountry Food Bank. One canned good is required for entry, but we will accept more. This event will take place at the Moncks Corner Regional Recreation Complex.

    Nightly Spirits’ Pub Tour Trolls Into Town

    Nightly Spirits, the nation’s largest haunted pub tour company providing tours in 14 cities across the nation, is bringing its spooky ghost tales and lively tour guides to Charleston, South Carolina with tours kicking off Friday, June 28th. Established in 2012, Nightly Spirits boasts year-round, intimate tours of just 15 to 20 guests that provide a hair-raising history through Charleston’s apparitional annals.

    Priced at just $25 for a two-and-a-half-hour tour that includes some pub time to drown the darkness, locals and tourists ages 21-and-up will gain access to exclusive off-limits areas throughout Charleston’s most “spectered” saloons.  Enthusiastic and costumed tour guides will cast a spooky spell throughout the evening with their knowledgeable, theatric and even comedic tales of Charleston’s other worldly adventures.

    Starting at 8:30 p.m., tour guests will meet their guide at Henry’s on the Market to kick off their night of ghoulish adventure. The tour will continue on to the equally haunted Tommy Condon’s where guests will learn why Charleston got its famous nickname, with Blind Tiger rounding out the night with more libations and haunted happenings.

    Don’t Be Mean to People, A Golden Rule Saison, was Ponysaurus Brewing Co.’s response to HB2 (otherwise known as the Bathroom Bill) in NC. Long story short, DBMTP beer sales have raised over $60,000 for Equality NC and an QORDS summer camp! Ponysaurus Brewing Co. has since begun hosting Don’t Be Mean to People events to gather people together to raise money and awareness about issues they believe in.
