Each Luncheon in the Garden will also feature a collaborative performance by musician, dancer, or poet relating to the theme. For this Luncheon, the artist will be discussing issues pertaining to re-entering society after incarceration.

Imagine if Adam and Eve were given a second chance after breaking the law of Eden and being expelled. What would a forgiving Eden be like? What restitution and codes of conduct would be necessary to allow them back? How do we bring the formerly incarcerated back into the fold of society, so they can become active and productive members of this paradise again?

Creekside Comedy Night with Coco Fresh

    9:00 pm-11:00 pm
    Jun-29-19

We are bringing you fireworks! Headliner Coco Fresh is going to light up this stage. You don’t want to miss this hilarious little fireball. Guaranteed laughter. Joining Coco is New York’s Clint Nohr, a former Charleston resident who’s comedy career led him to the big Apple and Myrtle Beach’s Scott Schacher rounds out the lineup.

Coco Fresh is a New Jack Female on the comedy scene from Charlotte, NC. A Comedy Zone Comedy School Alumni, Former radio personality of Club Vibrations Saturday Night Live Broadcast on Charlotte’s Old School 105.3FM, and entertainment reporter of The Hollywood Scoreboard ESPN980 The Morning Man Cave, Currently she is appearing on season 2 of TruTVs Laff Mobbs Laff Tracks, touring around the country, and The Charlotte Comedy Zones official host of Fight Night. This little lady’s stories of her childhood nightmares to strip club memoirs will tickle your funny bone enough to have completed an ab exercise. She is no stranger to television and has appeared as a dancer on BET’s Born to Dance, 106 and Park, MTV’s The Wade Robson Project, and CMT’s The Ultimate Coyote. She is also a former dancer for the WNBA and NBA.

Using his young appearance to his advantage, Clint Nohr immediately establishes a rapport with the audience. He’s charming and adorable and the funny thing is, he ACTUALLY believes this. Truth is, he combines sharp writing with a likable approach to any topic (nothing off limits). It’s a mixed bag of observational humor coming from a warped and twisted, yet somehow always relatable point of view. His conversational delivery comes across almost over-confident and self deprecating all at once, giving him the ability to connect with ANY crowd.

Your host, Keith Dee, is a regular feature for the Comedy Zone World Wide, and recently featured for Jamie Kennedy, and the Legendary Emo Phillips. He’s been a performer in the Charleston Comedy Festival and The North Carolina Comedy Festival.
