GOVERNOR APPOINTS ROBERTSON TO BOARD OF HEALTH
(JACKSON, Mississippi) – Governor Haley Barbour has appointed Ronnie Robertson, of Greenwood, to the State Board of Health, which governs the Mississippi Department of Health by providing policy direction for the agency.
“I’m delighted Ronnie has accepted this important assignment. He understands the critical role the Board of Health plays in ensuring the Department of Health is able to provide fundamental and necessary health services to Mississippians,” Governor Barbour said. “I am confident Ronnie will be a great asset to the state in this capacity.”
Robertson has worked for the Delta Electric Power Association for nearly 20 years. Previously, he was self-employed from 1976 to 1998 with Rite-A-Way, a family owned electrical and mechanical contractor firm.
Robertson attended Delta State University. He and his wife, Susan, have three children: Robin, Ryan, and Ronnie Wade.
