| Days of Grace Coalition to Hold Final Press Conference Ahead of Mass March and Conference in Charleston on Saturday and Sunday |

The coalition that is organizing this weekend’s “Days of Grace” mass march and strategy conference will hold its final press conference ahead of the activities on Saturday and Sunday. The press conference will take place at 1pm on Friday, September 4 at the ILA Hall at 1142 Morrison Dr.
Speakers will update the media on the final preparations for the demonstration and conference that are expected to draw large crowds to Charleston from across South Carolina and surrounding states.
They will also give important updates about some of the participants in the weekend’s events, including more than 90 endorsing organizations that are working to mobilize their memberships to attend and participate in the Days of Grace.
The coalition will also discuss some notable participants that will be present at the Days of Grace, including Rev. William J. Barber II, president of the NC State Conference of the NAACP and architect of the Moral Monday movement, who will deliver a major address during the rally on Saturday morning and The Rev. Norvel Goff, a Georgetown native and interim pastor at Emanuel AME Church, who was awarded the Order of the Palmetto in Georgetown on July 31, 2015.
