Lieutenant Flipper's Trial: The Play

Join author, actor and former U.S. Army Captain and combat leader Bob Rogers for this one-act play about the life of Lt. Henry O. Flipper, a former slave who fought in the Apache Wars after being the first African American to graduate from West Point. Lt. Flipper was court martialed in 1881, and was dismissed from the U.S. Army after being charged with embezzlement.
Photos or videos may be taken at CCPL events and activities for library use in promotion and publicity.
