STATEMENT FROM GOVERNOR HALEY BARBOUR
Regarding A Special Session for Baxter Healthcare Corporation in Cleveland

“In view of the Lt. Governor and Speaker’s agreement, I am calling a Special Session of the Legislature to honor the state’s commitment to Baxter Healthcare in Cleveland. This session will convene on Friday, July 15, 2005, at 11:00 a.m. to consider and pass bonds that will help Baxter remain a cornerstone of the Mississippi Delta economy. I hope and expect the Session will be both short and productive.”
