GOVERNOR'S TEACHER ADVISORY COUNCIL MEETING POSTPONED

(Jackson, Miss.) - Due to the increasing likelihood that Hurricane Ivan may have a major impact on the Gulf Coast and other parts of the state, the initial meeting of the Governor's Teachers Advisory Council in Jackson on Thursday, September 16 is postponed.

An update and new time and date for this meeting will be announced later.

Teachers who are on the Council are encouraged to contact the Governor's Office [email protected] or at 601-359-3150 to ensure that they have been properly notified of the rescheduling.
