Charleston County Government’s Contracts and Procurement Department announces a free seminar for small business owners. It will be held from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. on September 24, in the County’s Lonnie Hamilton, III Public Services Building located at 4045 Bridge View Drive in North Charleston, SC, 2nd floor, Room A214.
The seminar is being hosted by Charleston County Contracts and Procurement Department, Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE), and Small Business Enterprise (SBE) programs. The presenters for this seminar are representatives from the following organizations: SCORE, Small Business Development Center (SBDC), Increasing Hope Financial Center, and Small Business Administration (SBA) from Charleston, South Carolina.
Those attending the seminar will have the opportunity to learn about:
· Available business development resources in the community
· The importance of credit
· Implementing systems to operate a successful business
“Charleston County continues to look for new ways to help local small business owners grow and succeed,” said Contract and Procurement Director Barrett Tolbert. “Our workshops offer important information from experts at no cost to the business owners.”
