Harbour Club Celebrates 21st Anniversary with Beach Bash

The Harbour Club, a private business and social club and a member of the ClubCorp family, is marking its 21st birthday in the heart of the historic French Quarter in Charleston by opening its doors to the public for a 21st Anniversary Beach Bash on Saturday, August 22, from 7:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m.

 

The event will feature a DJ, dancing, photo booth, beach-themed cocktails and a beach-themed menu created by Executive Chef William Montgomery that will include Black Bean & Tropical Fruit Salad, Watermelon Gazpacho, Roasted Corn with Chile Lime Butter, Lobster Succotash, Grilled Shrimp Skewers, Jerked Spiced Chicken Kabobs, Pan Seared Mini Crab Cakes with Cajun Remoulade, Slider Station to include BBQ Pork, Sirloin Burgers and Alligator Sausage, Lowcountry Beach Boil and much more.

 

The cost of the event is $45 per person (plus tax and service charge). Ticket price includes DJ, dancing, photo booth, food displays, specialty drinks to include Mai Tais and Rum Runners and additional surprises. For more details and to make reservations, call 843-723-9680.

 

The Harbour Club opened its doors during the summer of 1994 in the 200-year-old building at 35 Prioleau Street with founding members that included DeAnna Ellington Cheek, MD, E. Bart Daniel, Trudie C. Krawcheck and Timothy Srantom. The club embraced diversity in the traditional Southern atmosphere and now serves as a centerpiece of Charleston where influential social and business community leaders connect with family, friends and colleagues.

 

Located in the French Quarter and overlooking the Skyline, Harbour Club offers both casual and upscale dining, private meeting and conference rooms and an expansive ballroom for large-scale events accommodating up to 300 people.
