3 Queens To Launch Mobile Game With Charity Event To Benefit Emanuel AME, Charleston

Mayoral Candidate William Dudley Gregorie Joins Tech Community For SC Charity Event

3 Queens, an all woman-owned, South Carolina based, gaming development and publishing company announced today the public launch of its first mobile game, Creeping with the Crudashians

In light of recent tragedy, and in lieu of the previously scheduled launch event, the company decided to unite the Silicon Harbor community to support and promote Charleston’s strength on the national stage at a premiere, invite-only benefit, Silicon Harbor is #charlestonstrong.

Members of Mother Emanuel AME Church will also be in attendance. Mayoral candidate William Dudley Gregorie will address the guests. 3 Queens joined forces with WeConsent2, BoomTown, local technology community leaders, and state and national representatives to host this event with the intention to communicate that the Charleston Tech industry is committed to “being part of the love and solution” for race and economic disparity in the community.

“We had originally planned to hold a large scale public launch event for the game in Silicon Valley, but, in light of the recent tragedies, we knew we needed to come alongside our community,” said Cara Florence, Co-Founder, 3 Queens.  “We decided to change things up a bit, and host a benefit instead.  We are hopeful other tech companies will join in this effort with us and fostering the future workforce of Silicon Harbor.”

Creeping with the Crudashians is an outrageously humorous parody on America’s reality TV royal family.  Based on everyone’s favorite family to hate, the Match 3 game is available for both iOS and Android users.

In addition to hosting the event, 3 Queens will be donating 10% of the first month's profits of Creeping with the Crudashians to STEM scholarships for minorities in South Carolina, and, along with WeConsent2, are donating an additional $5k each.

There will be branded wristbands at the door for a minimum $10 donation, proceeds will go directly to Emanuel AME Church, as well as monies raised at the cash bar including contributions by Anheuser-Busch.  BoomTown has donated 10k to the City of Charleston’s Mother Emanuel Hope Fund and unites with all Charleston tech companies in celebration that Silicon Harbor is #charlestonstrong.

“We are very fortunate to be involved in such a booming and supportive tech community like Silicon Harbor,” said Nicole Young, Co-Founder, 3 Queens.  “It’s times like this that we all need to pull together and give back to our community in need.”

3 Queens and BoomTown have invited Silicon Harbor technology companies to attend and donate to this cause, including Charleston Open Source, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting Charleston Tech nationwide.  The Republic Garden & Lounge has donated their venue to host the invite-only event. It will be held from 5:30pm - 7:30pm.
