Starting this Fall, Wild Blue Ropes will offer character development and team building workshops for individuals and groups including schools, scout troops, nonprofits, corporations and universities - followed by ropes course challenges every Monday through Friday. The program will launch with special “Dine & Climb” camps for kids (ages 5 to 12 years old) - on November 24, 25, & 26 - before the Thanksgiving Holiday.
Workshops will be instructed by certified professional etiquette consultant, Alyson Murphy, a native of Mount Pleasant, who has been teaching social etiquette and professional protocol in New York City for the past two years. She merges biological science with social psychology to teach manners and cultivate character in a modern and innovative approach helping individuals strengthen social, emotional and body intelligence.
Thanksgiving Holiday camps will cover communication skills, self-presentation, self-control, greetings and handshaking, gratitude, GRIT, team building, and dining etiquette (both american and continental styles).
Following the lessons, children will put their skills to use choosing from any of the three levels Wild Blue Ropes has to offer. Each level offers exciting challenges as participants swing, climb, and strategically maneuver from one feature to the next.
