The Other Side of a Desire

Life Is full of wonderful opportunities for the dreamers and doers in society. Some "hue-mans" choose to take advantage of these precious moments to accomplish much good in life and to fulfill their expected goals, and others simply do not.

In my constant thoughts, to achieve one's goals In life, I sense that it boils down to what one created soul is willing to put forth in order to reach what he or she desires, aspires to or wishes for. It can be achieved but it demands discipline, and it's all about the choices one makes in his or her life's pursuits.

My late mother, a very respected and honored schoolteacher, would always advise me that "to whom much is given, much is expected." She also said that any kind of valued success in life carries a sweat equity pattern label with it.

With that being an inspired memory in head and, "As I See It," in order to make any desired action come to fruition, one must put forth the effort to complete whatever he or she hopes to attain in life. There's no other way than to say it that way because if we wish to be the so-called best in whatever we wish for or hope to be,we have to have a sweat equity pattern label behind or with us in our academic and employment backgrounds. It's a must and there's no two ways in escaping that reality.

This is a monumental point to never forget because we all in "hue-manity" are challenged by one pressing inner issue or the other as we delve into our survival modes to cope with the myriad of tests' from God Alone. These tests should never be taken lightly or for granted as some abstract-minded "colored"souls in creation may carelessly do from time-to-time.

I try not to forget that fact, always remembering that this sacred phase of life is a divinely directed struggle to me in my own personal inner challenges, and that's being as candidly frank with you as I presently choose to be. For me, "The Other Side of a Desire," is a personal recognition of thanking the Most High Alone in knowing that each divine moment in time that I face in life yields another situation in this moment to do something positive with my life.

I hope you're with me today for this rather off-the-cuff literary introspective ride because our desires of the heart and mind should be taken very seriously if we're to sincerely make the utmost of them. Does that make sense to you,or am I being a little too lofty for you today?

I don't think so, and I hope that's not the case, because I'd like our shared interactions at this time to be ones that are spiritually meaningful for your soul and, hopefully, generically informative to your mind. Life is too short for our casual desires of ill-spoken unfulfilled whims to fade away like words written on water without us putting our best efforts in achieving our real goals, if you catch my current mental literal drift.

"The Other Side of a Desire" is an intense feeling and sentimental journey inside my head about the spiritual reflections and the fragility of a single God Alone given moment in time extended to us, and how many of us in "hue-amenity" fail to identify with that truism. I don't know about you, but living in today's world of so many horrifying atrocities and shocking events humbles me in appreciation of the Creator Alone's mercies towards the God Alone fearing and sane of today's "hue-manity" who want and desire to live in peace and tranquility with the rest of creation.

As I've said before, life is full of constant chaotic challenges galore, and that's more than a mouthful to spew at you as you view the world's daily happenings with shock and awe. The ethnic world of Black America, along with all of this nation's other ethnicities, should attest to the fragilities of each moment as the desires for unity and The cries for global peace resounds throughout this country and beyond.

Time is precious and no one, and I do mean no one, can count the next moment in time as a certainty for him or her, no matter what your religion may be or whatever you ethnically nationally call yourself. So, knowing that time waits for no one on any given particular stage in life, or at any selected time frame, it would behoove the wise among us to put forth our absolute dedicated effort in achieving our goals, aspirations, wishes and desires big time.

This can be done by anyone among the wise in "hue-manity" who knows that the flip-sided secret reasoning of understanding the intrinsic message behind "The Other Side of a Desire" is that that persevering soul faithfully tries his or her utmost in attaining his or her goal(s) and beIng absolutely steadfast in accomplishing that aim.

Simply said, "The Other Side of a Desire" is a no-brainier. It invokes the timeless self-initiative of "hue-manity's" hall of famers who earned their success by sweat equity effort. That's a message for the ages that's proven real for all those in the past who've taken care of business and attained success in life.

Now, it's our time to TCB and to, maybe, grasp the meaning behind why I wrote this piece today. Here's Hoping that you do and I do wish the best for you in fulfillIng your positive desires in life. For today and always, that's, "As I See It."
