Saul Alexander Gallery Exhibit

Kristen Solecki displays fourteen illustrations in this exhibit, including seven portraits and seven architectural landscapes. Each landscape matches a portrait, though it is up to the viewer to develop their own narrative from the subjects.

Banned Book Puzzle (adults)

Banned Book Anime Drawing Contest (teens)

Line Street in downtown Charleston takes its name from a line of fortifications commenced in September 1814, when it appeared that British forces might attack the city. These temporary defensive works were later demolished, but their location is still marked by curious features on our present streetscape. Please join CCPL's historian, Dr. Nic Butler, for an illustrated survey of the military origins of Line Street.
