TEDxCharleston 2014 Speakers

TEDxCharleston organizers announced today that they are accepting speaker and performer applications now through October 14 for the 2015 event, which will take place in the spring timeframe.  With a theme of Embrace Chaos, chosen speakers are expected to inspire with ideas that teach the audience how to use chaos as a construct for creativity and change. Organizers are looking for speakers and performers in areas such as the environment, education, parenting, philanthropy, technology, arts, food, fashion, healthcare and more.

“We actively are looking for change agents that can share with our TEDxCharleston audience how they have gleaned outcomes from chaotic circumstances to change the community or the world,” said Edith Howle, curator of TEDxCharleston.  “Past TEDxCharleston speakers and performers tell us that participating in this event was a life-changing, door-opening experience.  We want to tap into the many unheard voices, ideas and talents that make up this community.”

More information regarding speaker and performer submissions and the 2015 event is available at www.tedxcharleston.org.  The location and date of the event will be announced soon.  Videos of the speakers and performances at the 2014 and 2013 TEDxCharlestonevents are available for viewing  at www.tedxcharleston.org.
