Haunted by a tragic incident, Nihat isolates himself as the fire warden of a remote forest observation tower. To distance herself from her own traumatic past, Seher takes a similarly solitary job as a hostess at a rural bus station in the region. Each goes about their secluded existence until their fates collide at a crossroads. Reluctantly choosing companionship over isolation, the pair develops a tender, if uneven, domestic partnership as they settle into Nihat's mountainside watchtower. Ultimately, their proximity serves as the ultimate catalyst, allowing each to redevelop a compassion in their lives they'd long since lost. Directed by Pelin Esmer. In Turkish with English subtitles.

The four young lovers from A Midsummer Night’s Dream find themselves shipwrecked on Prospero’s island from The Tempest, leading to a tortuous web of comic and dramatic romantic entanglements. The all-star cast is headed by David Daniels as Prospero, Joyce DiDonato as Sycorax, Danielle de Niese as Ariel, Luca Pisaroni as Caliban, and the legendary Plácido Domingo as Neptune. William Christie conducts this dazzling world-premiere production by director Phelim McDermott.
