Join best-selling novelist, playwright and filmmaker Nina Foxx for a discussion of her recent literary works Wednesday, July 2 at 6 p.m. at the Dorchester Road Regional Library.
Foxx will talk about her latest young adult novel, Catfish; the anthology she edited entitled, A Letter for My Mother; and her poignant new novel, Momma: Gone. A book signing will follow the lecture.
Foxx has appeared on numerous bestseller lists around the country, and her films have won awards at the Sundance Film Festival, the Tribeca Film Festival, Cannes and the Rome International Film Festival. She also writes under the pseudonym Cynnamon Foster.
A mother of teens, she lives near Seattle and works for a major software company. Foxx is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., The Links, Jack & Jill of America and the Association for Computing Machinery’s Human-Computer Interaction Special Interest Group.
Foxx will sign autographs following the discussion, and copies of her novels will be available to purchase.
