Discovering County Parks: Exploring Laurel Hill

The ruins of plantation homes at Laurel Hill reveal the presence of two very different societies, enslaved and free, that interacted in ways almost unimaginable today and from which the largely Gullah Phillips community emerged. Join CCPRC's naturalists to discover who is making noises at night. We will listen for and learn about owls, frogs, insects, and other nocturnal noisemakers.
