Kaynard’s display features images of the Audubon Swamp at Magnolia Plantation. Kaynard describes his inspiration, stating, “Having only recently become interested in photographing nature, I am still like a kid in a candy store. I was never able to get my fill and was excited about what I might see when I returned another day.”

The Charleston Friends of the Library is holding a special gadget and media drive. Help the library, and donate your gently used CDs, DVDs, LPs, video games, iPods/iPads, eReaders, cell phones and other digital devices. Donations can be dropped off at any branch location, and items will be sold online or at upcoming Friends' book sales.

Wearing pajamas is encouraged, and adults have the opportunity to speak with staff from the Family Resource Center for Disabilities and Special Needs.
