Stuckey Awarded the Rev. Donna E. Green Memorial Scholarship and Stanford Edley Scholarship

Tyla Camille Stuckey, a freshman at Francis Marion University, was one of the first recipients of The Rev. Donna E. Green Memorial Scholarship which was established to honor the memory and legacy of Rev. Donna E. Green who was a passionate pastor, community leader, skilled nurse and Godly mentor to many. The qualified student must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher at the end of their High School Studies as well as extracurricular activities and community service.

Stuckey has also been awarded the Stanford Edley Scholarship from the Charleston County Missionary Baptist Association, the Low Country Deacons Alliance Scholarship and the Charleston County Baptist Association Ushers Education Scholarship.

She is also a South Carolina Hope Scholarship recipient. She attends Charity Missionary Baptist Church. She is the daughter of Lincoln and Vickie Stuckey, the granddaughter of Wilson and Jerry Dean Melvin and the great granddaughter of Mrs. Alter Bankhead.
