Dekeyia Cohen will be honored in Columbia as one of the Elite Players in South Carolina.

  On Wednesday, November 14th at 12:00 p.m., The South Carolina Basketball Coaches Association will hold a their annual preseason banquet announcing the number one teams in the state, top 5 male and female senior players from each classification, and also the Elite players from the state. 

 Once again this year in Columbia.   West Ashley High School’s own Dekeyia Cohen has been selected as one of the Elite Players in South Carolina.  At the conclusion of the banquet the players will answer questions presented to them from the media.

 The West Ashley High School girls basketball star has had an impressive start to her career. She has scored more than 1,000 points in her first two seasons with the Lady Wildcats.

  The banquet will be held at Seawell's Banquet Center on Rosewood Drive in Columbia.
