In partnership with the Minority Business Development Agency, Walker’s Legacy presents “Ask a Boss”, a digital masterclass series featuring women of influence who have achieved success in business and beyond. The digital conversation will be held this Friday, July 17th at noon.
The digital series moderated by Natalie Madeira Cofield, Walker’s Legacy Founder & CEO, provides attendees with the opportunity to have an intimate conversation with award-winning business professionals, CEOS, and influencers. The “Ask a Boss” series will cover topics ranging from obstacles facing women in the workplace to career reinvention.
“The “Ask A Boss” digital masterclass series creates a platform for women of color in business to explore the benefits of mentorship and community,” said Natalie Madeira Cofield, Founder & CEO of Walker’s Legacy.
The featured speaker of this episode in the masterclass series is Bea Dixon, CEO of The Honey Pot.
Beatrice Dixon suffered from bacterial vaginosis for eight months. One night, the ingredients to heal herself appeared in a dream. From that insightful dream, she created the formula for a healthy, clean feminine wash. In 2014, Dixon launched The Honey Pot Company, a plant-based feminine hygiene line created with a goal to provide women with a healthy alternative to feminine care that is free of chemicals, parabens, carcinogens, and sulfates. The rest is history.
With experience in pharmaceuticals, retail, and natural foods, Dixon has the insight and expertise to bring the innovative concept of a plant-based feminine care system to the marketplace. Unlike mass market and conventional feminine care brands, consumers will be able to get all of their feminine care needs to be met under one brand as The Honey Pot Company currently offers feminine washes, wipes, tampons, pads, mommy-to-be products, and soon-to-be additional offerings in both the feminine hygiene and feminine care segments.
Today, The Honey Pot Company’s products can be found online and in stores nationwide at Target, Walmart, Urban Outfitters, Walgreens, Bed Bath and Beyond, Wegmans and Whole Foods, among other retailers
“Bea Dixon is proof that your personal struggles can grow to become someone else’s strength and confidence,” said Natalie Madeira Cofield, Founder & CEO of Walker’s Legacy. “We are excited for her to join us on Friday and share the lessons she has learned along her journey to running a billion-dollar global organization.”
