On Mayday, Friday, May 1st SC State Representative JA Moore, the first professional chef elected to the SC state legislature, will be Feeding it Forward. You can order a basic lunch or a fancy one. Afterward, JA will prepare and deliver a substantial, gourmet snack to one of our area’s emergency first responders or health care workers battling the virus.

You can pick up your lunch at his catering kitchen and event space in North Charleston with full social distancing, but still on a friendly porch. Delivery is also available in certain, limited areas. JA makes some of the deliveries himself.
Here is video of JA taking lunch and encouragement to our teachers who are trying to continue their student’s education through the barriers of social distancing and who, after having worked daily in an environment saturated in human contact, emotion, conversation and education, are now working from home, across the internet to keep the spark of curiosity and knowledge alive. That’s hard, but JA is making their next meal easy.
