Fort Dorchester High School Student Receives National Recognition

Taijon Gardner

Taijon Gardner, a student at Fort Dorchester High School, was inducted into the 100 High School Students America Needs to Know About. He was chosen out of thousands of students.

Taijon is a dedicated visionary who is wise beyond his years. He sees a future for himself that will only be accomplished by hard work and continuity. Taijon works before school and after school at a youth extension program and at Harris Teeter.

Taijon not only works hard outside of school but he works tremendously hard in school. He is diligent in his studies and is always willing to come to school early for school improvement planning meetings and help the administrators out during lunch when they “just need an extra hand”. Taijon Gardner is the next big thing and definitely someone to keep your eye on.

100 High School Students America Needs to Know About is a national competition that showcases the next generation of forward-thinking entrepreneurs, student leaders, activists, radio hosts, designers and so much more! Some of these high school students have “beaten the odds” under difficult and extreme circumstances? These students are making their mark in industries ranging from agriculture to the non-profit world. But most of all they are making a difference in their schools, communities and the lives of their peers.
