The Charleston Health & Wellness Expo Takes Place January 31 at the Omar Shrine Temple

For the third year in a row, HealthLinks Magazine, along with the Medical University of South Carolina, will host the Charleston Health & Wellness Expo. This year’s event will take place on Jan. 31, 2020, at the Omar Shrine Temple in Mount Pleasant from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

This will be the first year the event is being held at the Omar Shrine Temple, where parking is free. The Expo, also free, will feature some of the best of the best in our health care community. There will be professionals representing everything from pediatrics to geriatrics and everything in between. Some of the interactive highlights include free health screens, body and mind fitness, exercise demos, cooking lessons, relaxing massages and information on oral health, as well as pet health.

This also is the inaugural year for the magazine’s Best in Health Care competition. Winners will be announced at the Expo at 4 p.m.

“It is our third straight year of hosting the Expo, and I’m still getting calls and emails thanking me for our first,” exclaimed HealthLinks Publisher Cullen Murray-Kemp. “We recognize the need for an expo with a global perspective so that businesses can interact with each other and develop strategic partnerships for years to come.”

Corporate and wellness sponsors include Beautiful Gate Center, Better Life, Absolute Total Care, CORA Physical Therapy and Next Day Access.
