Nine ladies will be showing their strength and courage on Saturday, November 16 during the 4th Annual Miss Cancer Warrior Pageant. These ladies are traveling from South Carolina, Georgia, Texas and Pennsylvania. The theme of this year’s event is “Stayin’ Alive.”
Miss Cancer Warrior is about celebrating survivors, remembering those lost to this dreaded disease and fighting back, i.,e., stayin’ alive. Participants will compete in four categories: introductions, creative wear, evening wear and an on-stage question.
“The pageant is full of laughs, tears and testimonies,” says pageant founder Ylonda Nero-Anderson. “Between each scene we have special performances such as singing, comedy, spiritual dancing, etc. The winner will receive $1,000. Our goal and vision is to make others happy and inspire them as they go through this season of their life.”
The 2019 Miss Cancer Warrior Pageant will take place at Royal Baptist Family Life Center (4750 Abraham Ave). For more information and to purchase tickets contact Ylonda Nero-Anderson via email [email protected] or phone (843) 729-7140 and follow the Miss Cancer Warrior page on Facebook.
