The CJCC is urging community members to register for roundtable dialogues at one of twelve locations that start this week. The dialogues bring small community groups together all across the county for in-depth conversation about safety and justice and generate ideas for action. This is your opportunity to be heard and have input into local criminal justice improvement. Groups will meet weekly for two-hours for a total of three weeks. Times and dates of each site meeting can be found at bit.ly/countmein2019. No expertise or prior knowledge about the subject matter is required to participate.
Register at bit.ly/countmein2019 or by calling the CJCC offices at 843-529-7307. “The voice, concerns and experiences of the community are integral to the future direction of CJCC efforts. We look forward to building on progress to-date and sharpening our focus in the areas that matter the most to our community,” said CJCC Chairman Stan Gragg, Deputy Chief, Mount Pleasant Police Department.
