Bishop Gadsden Announces Renee Burton as New Director of BG Connections Home Care

Bishop Gadsden Episcopal Retirement Community, a leader in the senior living industry, has selected Renee R. Burton as the new Director of BG Connections, Bishop Gadsden’s Home Care Program.

In her role as Director of BG Connections Home Care, she will manage and support all needs for home care services. Burton will oversee BG Connections’ certified nursing assistants and companions, whom provide direct care for residents of the greater Charleston community, as well as Bishop Gadsden.

Burton joins Bishop Gadsden with more than 15 years of experience in the healthcare industry. She began her career in health care as an Admissions and Marketing Director with a skilled nursing facility and has most recently served as the Human Resources and Scheduling Director at Care for Life of Charleston.

Burton’s experience includes human resources management, healthcare marketing and admissions, payroll, accounting and human services, as well as extensive knowledge of general health care and senior advisement.

Burton has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Legal Studies. She is a Charleston native and is devoted to serving the greater low country in their home care needs.
