Saturday, August 10, the illest Tribe is turning their talents to help save North Charleston’s beloved Fresh Future Farm! IllVibeTheTribe will be curating an art and food market where proceeds benefit the farm’s initiative. Fresh Future Farm recently launched a Kickstarter campaign to buy their land so that they can remain a fresh food and community source in The Macon. Fresh Future Farm not only is the main fresh food source within miles of this neighborhood, but they also provide camps to the children, teaches agriculture to the community, provide jobs to people of their community, and has been a hub for those in need.
“Fresh Future Farm is the solution people always speak about, a community garden, that helps people have a better option of living, teaches us better ways to cook, and creates a sense of community. Losing this farm would be a devastating loss in this community,” says the Tribe. The “FarmRaiser” brings together local artists, artisans, and chefs to set up shop inside of the Farm for a fun mix of food and festivities to help this farm stay where it needs to be.Bring your friends, family, kids, and COIN because we’ve got a farm to save!
