Interested in South Carolina’s burgeoning Hemp industry as a farmer or investor? There’s a workshop to answer your questions hosted by the Gullah Geechee Chamber of Commerce, “What the Hemp?! Learning the in’s and out’s of growing and investing in Hemp.”
The workshop takes place Saturday, June 15, 2019 from 2 pm – 4 pm at Howard Gym and Auditorium, 1610 Hawkins Street, Georgetown, SC. “Hemp is a growth industry in South Carolina with huge opportunities,” stated Marilyn Hemingway, CEO/President of the Gullah Geechee Chamber, “our Chamber’s vision includes economic growth for the Gullah Geechee community. For anyone interested this is a workshop to learn more about Hemp so this is not a missed economic opportunity for many in and beyond our community.”
The workshop schedule includes a discussion of South Carolina Hemp laws lead by Danisha McClary, Economic Development Professional and land use practices, industrial hemp and investment opportunities lead by Jermaine Euland, owner of Carolina Hemp & Cannabis LLC.
