Visitors enjoying live music al fresco during May’s Free First Thursday on Main at the CMA

June’s First Thursday on Main features an evening of art and artful activities at the CMA. Attendees can enjoy free admission to the CMA collection and exhibitions Shades of Greene: The Art of Sanford Greene and Latinidad: Latin American Art from the Collection, improv with The Mothers of Trustus Theatre at 6:30 p.m., a Focal Points: Proud Perspectives tour of the CMA collection at 7:00 p.m., and a book signing with artist Sanford Greene from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Greene’s new comic book Bitter Root will be available for purchase as will signed prints. The newly renovated Boyd Plaza will also be lively, with a pop-up beer and wine garden from The Whig; a pop-up pinball arcade from Transmission Arcade; live music from Space Heater, Grand Republic, Cayla Fralick, and Prettier Than Matt; and food for purchase from Los Chicanos, The Wurst Wagen, and The Wolf Pizza Company.
