Charleston County Register of Deeds Michael Miller to participate in Teacher Appreciation Week

Michael Miller
Teacher Appreciation Week is nationally recognized on the second week of May each year. During this week teachers are highlighted and honored for their contributions in education.
Michael Miller is a local business owner, former Charleston County School Board Trustee and the current Register of Deeds of Charleston County. Miller has decided to sponsor lunch for eight Title-1 schools in North Charleston during this week.
Through this initiative over 400 teachers across the district will have lunch delivered to their schools. This is just a small token of appreciation to the unsung heroes of education in CCSD.
Several years ago, Miller provided lunch to eight Title-1 high schools of Charleston County; 566 teachers in all.
These are the schools that have been selected and the days of lunch delivered:
Monday:
W.B. Goodwin Elementary
Lambs Elementary
Tuesday:
Mary Ford Elementary
Chicora Elementary
Wednesday:
Matilda Dunston Elementary
A.C. Corcoran Elementary
Thursday:
Morningside Middle
North Charleston High School
Thank you, Michael Miller! I am a teacher at Goodwin. Thank you for letting us know that you care. Thank you for walking the talk.
