Beginning Saturday, May 25, conNECKtedTOO by the Charleston Rhizome Collective will celebrate past and present TINY BUSINESS in the MLK District downtown (Spring Street and Cannon Street) with “BET ON ME, I BET ON YOU,” a series of multi-media art, scavenger hunts, interactive tour/performances and story sharing opportunities anchored by an installation at the Cannon Street Arts Center (134 Cannon Street).
All events start or take place at the Cannon Street Arts Center and are free and open to the public. At sites or inside of TINY businesses along Charleston’s MLK District these interventions and art projects will focus on TINY businesses and the communities they serve. The newly opened Cannon Street Arts Center provides a point of orientation to experience what conNECKtedTOO is doing to increase awareness of the cultural significance of TINY BUSINESS in Charleston as urban planners push out the small, the singular, the local.
