Over half of workers say “a job where I can make an impact” is important to their happiness. Meanwhile, 66 percent of global consumers say they’re willing to pay more for sustainable brands— up 55 percent from 2014. Lowcountry Local First invites the local business community to its first quarterly Good Business Workshop of 2019, “Creating Social Impact Through Business.”
This interactive workshop will explore the various ways a business can make a direct impact on its community and the broader world. Attendees will leave the evening with at least one actionable step to take to infuse purpose and impact into their business model, while exploring a variety of scalable, incremental steps to grow their business’ impact. The workshop will be held Wednesday, February 6 from 5:30 p.m.– 7:30 p.m. at Local Works (1630-2 Meeting Street).
Lowcountry Local First members have free access to this event. Non-member tickets are available for $10. Learn more and register at LowcountryLocalFirst.org/events.
