On Friday, December 21, 2018, Life Care Center of Charleston will host children from The Jenkins House and Carolina Youth Development at its company Christmas party.

The event, coordinated by Activities Coordinator Cherie Adrat, will provide food and drinks from local vendors, as well as a visit from Santa Claus. Items donated by Life Care associates will also be distributed to the children as Christmas gifts at the party.

“My department set up angel trees with the names of the children and a few gift items they were asking for,” said Adrat. “The staff has gone above and beyond. Some gifts that have been donated are a Chromebook, sneakers, jewelry, clothes, make-up and gift cards.”

Donna Moynihan, business development director, said that the event is a true community blessing.

“I will tell you, this event has really touched the hearts of our entire building,” said Moynihan. “It will be a day to remember.”
