Charleston International Airport (CHS) in partnership with the South Carolina Airports Coalition will host the 2018 Small Business Fly-In for DBEs, women-owned businesses, veteran-owned businesses, and small local business enterprises. The Small Business Fly-In will provide opportunities for entrepreneurs and business owners to network with industry leaders and learn about upcoming bid opportunities at CHS. It is free and will be held Thursday, October 25 from 4 pm – 7 pm at the Landing by RJ, 1832 Airport Boulevard, Cayce, South Carolina. Space is limited and advance registration is recommended at https://scflyin.eventbrite.com.

The South Carolina Airports Coalition is the first of its kind in the nation. In 2016, the four major South Carolina airports: Columbia Metropolitan Airport (CAE), Charleston International Airport (CHS), Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport (GSP) and Myrtle Beach International Airport (MYR) formed an alliance to help build relationships and promote business opportunities for small, minority, women and veteran-owned businesses. The annual “Fly-In” invites businesses to learn the significance of certifications, provide networking opportunities, learn about upcoming business opportunities, and meet Airport representatives face to face.
