The Charleston Area Justice Ministry is a growing network of Faith Based Congregations who are culturally, economically, geographically and religiously diverse. They come together to make the Charleston area a more just place to live. To further this work, CAJM has recently hired 2 associate organizers, Raynique Syas and Rose Stump.
Raynique has been heavily involved in CAJM as a volunteer team leader for the past several years and looks forward to transitioning to a full time organizer.
Rose, who has an MPA from UNC Chapel Hill, has experience organizing farm workers to improve their working conditions and also helped bring the Racial Equity Institute to UNC.
Both Raynique and Rose are passionate about pursuing justice and equity in the Charleston community.
