IT-oLogy and the South Carolina Department of Education have announced the 2nd annual Innovation Challenge submission deadline has been extended to September 21, 2018. The Challenge is a statewide competition for grades 3-12 students and teachers who create projects using technology to solve or bring awareness to a problem in the community.
“Last year, the South Carolina Innovation Challenge encouraged students across South Carolina to design, create, and take their use of technology to a whole new level. We are excited to open this year’s challenge to both students and teachers, so they can be innovative in solving real world problems in their local communities,” said South Carolina Superintendent of Education Molly Spearman.
The 2018 Challenge is open for students in grades 3 – 12. Students can create a project that uses technology to solve a problem facing the environment in their school, community, or South Carolina.
