The Usher Ministry of First Baptist Church of James Island will celebrate its 83rd Anniversary. We are having a one-night pre-anniversary Revival on Thursday, August 16, 2018 at  7:30 pm and our Anniversary Program themed “Ushers committed to doing the will of God. And be not conformed tho this world: but ye transformed by the renewing of your mind that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect will, of God”. Romans 12.:2 will be held on Sunday, August 19th at 3:30pm. Rev. Cecelia D. Armstrong Associate Pastor of James Island Presbyterian Church, USA will be the speaker on Thursday. The First Baptist male choir will present selections on Thursday and the Malke Choir will do so for Sunday, August 19th. The Usher Ministry of First Baptist Church, James Island.

Voter Registration at Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church

One of the main goals of the Charleston County Boards of Elections is to increase voter registration for 2018. Effective January 13, 2018 all 17 years old who will be 18 no later than November 6, 2018 can register to vote.  You may register to vote, make changes and/or obtain the new voter I.D. Card at Mt Olive Missionary Baptist Church on the following dates:

July 21, 2018 –  10:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon

September 15, 2018 –  10:00 a.m.  to 12:00 Noon

FOOD BANK:   Distribution of Food and Clothing:

3rd Saturday of Every Month – 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon
