Seattle Seahawks cornerback & Super Bowl Champion Byron Maxwell and his foundation, Maxwell’s Way, will host a skills & drills clinic for children ages 6-18 from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, June 9, 2018 at Baptist Hill Middle High School located at 5117 Baptist Hill Road, Hollywood, SC 29449.
Maxwell, a former Fort Dorchester High School star, re-joined the Seahawks after stints in Philadelphia and Miami. The defensive back wants to give back to the community before he is expected to head back to Seattle for mandatory training camp.
The fun and free event is designed to introduce children to basic skills in an exciting and energetic environment and is supported through a grant from the NFL Foundation. Featured activities for the event include bounce houses, balloon art, face painting, games and much more for youth spectators and kids under 6 years of age. Visit www.BryonMaxwellFoundation.org for details and registration.
This Clinic will incorporate a series of drills to teach passing, catching and running skills in a non-contact setting. All skills and drills selected by staff and facilitators, ensuring children are learning in an age-appropriate manner, based on their cognitive and physical maturity.
Maxwell’s Way is a 501c3 nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering our youth.
