The AT&T AUDIENCE Network Series “Mr. Mercedes” is set to begin filming season two on Monday, February 12 in Charleston, SC. The series which will film until late June is in need of people all ages and all ethnicities to be paid extras. Those interested in submitting must be able to work as local to Charleston.
Season 1 of “Mr. Mercedes” followed a demented killer Brady Hartsfield (Harry Treadaway) who taunts a retired police detective Bill Hodges (Brendan Gleeson) with a series of lurid letters and emails, forcing the ex-cop to undertake a private, and potentially felonious, crusade to bring the killer to justice before he is able to strike again.
Jack Huston and Maximiliano Hernandez will join returning cast members Brendan Gleeson, Harry Treadaway, Jharrel Jerome, Scott Lawrence, Breeda Wool, Justin Lupe and Holland Taylor for the upcoming season. The series is based on the 2014 award-winning book of the same name written by legendary author Stephen King. Season one was also shot around Charleston.
