Fresh Future Farm Hosts Inaugural Neighborhood Harvest Meal Fundraiser

Fresh Future Farm invites support for their Inaugural Neighborhood Harvest Meal on Saturday, November 18 from noon – 3 p.m. at 2008 Success Street in North Charleston.

The first harvest meal is all about oysters, chili (with and without meat), delicious sides, desserts and two varieties of farm fresh herbal drinks (hibiscus tea and cucumber mint water).

FFF is inviting Chicora-Cherokee residents, FFF volunteers, shoppers and supporters, community, elected officials and tourists to “break bread” together and learn more about our progress and ways that friends can become engaged in helping FFF grow. There is a suggested $20 donation for adult diners, $10 for youth (suggested donations for Chicora-Cherokee residents are $10 for adults and $5 for youth). Along with great food and conversation, there will be a DJ, board games and auction and raffle items to keep visitors engaged and mingling. Some auction and raffle items are posted on our Facebook event page at Proceeds from the fundraiser will help cover administrative expenses.

The FFF team is still recruiting 2-3 more corporate or individual sponsors, so please contact them at  to participate. Sponsors will be recognized on Fresh Future Farm’s website, on social media (Facebook, Instagram and Twitter), and as part of a display at the Neighborhood Harvest event.
