The Medi, a non-profit organization engaging medical resources for the community, will bring legendary Hip Hop artist Big Daddy Kane to the Lowcountry to feature the art of Hip Hop and the artistry of local talents engaged in this genre of music.
This event is the second in a series of Medi Mondays, sponsored by The Medi Community Resource Center to bring about a greater awareness of the cultural mores of our community and various elements defining today’s evolving leadership within our communities.
Other talents on the program include host Courtney “The Poet”, DJ KUB, Merlot Moments with Langston Hughes III, and Four20s Featuring J-Vive and Jermaine Holmes.
The event will be held at the Charleston Music Hall on October 2, 2017, Doors open at 7:00pm and the show starts at 7:30pm. VIP tickets include a special reception starting at 6:00pm. Additionally, special ticket pricing is available for all students.
