According to an article in the New York Times, a current and a former American government official reported that President Trump, or #45, for those who refuse to accept him as President, “boasted about highly classified intelligence in a meeting with the Russian foreign minister and ambassador last week providing details that could expose the source of the information and the manner in which it was collected”. According to the Times, “a Middle Eastern ally that closely guards its own secrets provided the information.”
What President #45 fails to realize is if he can’t keep top secret information, allies will not share information and when information dries up, it places America at a higher risk for attacks.
It’s like me sharing my closely guarded secrets with a girlfriend and finding out later that she shared the information on Facebook. Do you think I will share anything else with her?
A couple of weeks ago, President #45 said he did not know the job of the Presidency was so difficult.
If that doesn’t sound like “hogwash”, I don’t know what else does. What position did he think he was running for, dogcatcher?
If the President of this country does not have the best interest of those that he was sworn to serve, then who does? Why are we, the people, sitting back and allowing this one-man show that is clearly spiraling out of control? What is it going to take to reel President #45 in?
What are the American people waiting for? What’s next? Oh, no not the “red button” Mr. President. Please keep your hands of the “red button”.
Since #45 took office, everyday has been filled of nothing but drama. Press Secretary Spicer was caught up last week like a deer in the headlight. It is becoming more and more difficult for him to stick to the script.
Spicer tries not to get caught up in the President’s drama and was recently caught hiding out behind hedges on the White House grounds. Now, it’s bad when your staff must hide to avoid the Press because they don’t want to be caught up in the “mess”.
At some point, America just needs to man up to her mistake. I know no one asked me but personally #45 is ill prepared for the responsibilities of the job. If the Office of President was any other business, he would have been fired the first week on the job.
Not only is #45 not prepared for the job, he has the audacity to tear down what President Obama, #44, a man of integrity and intellect, has done without a carefully laid out plan.
America has got to be the laughing stock of the world. She traded integrity and dignity for what? I am still trying to wrap my hands around the nonsense. Why do we expect less from the highest leader of the land? We teach our children integrity and values and now we find ourselves dealing with a President who lies and intimidates others including his staff. He sounds more like a “bully” to me. You either go along to get along or you are out.
There is such a thing as diplomacy. You either have it or you don’t. President #45 reminds me of a spoiled child who cries and falls out on the floor in public for attention. He commands attention by his behavior to get what he wants.
America deserves better! If something is not done sooner than later, we may find ourselves in a senseless war. Speaking of war, I am reminded of the lyrics of Edwin Starr’s song “War, what is it good for, absolutely nothing. War, I despise because it means destruction of innocent lives.” Ha, say it again!
Americans, the innocents, you are faced with one question. Are you tired of the nonsense??
