Water Mission Deploys Water Treatment Systems In Haiti
Water Mission is sending 10 safe water treatment systems from its Port au Prince, Haiti program office to the most impacted regions in the west and south to serve up to 50,000 people in devastated regions.
In addition, 10 safe water treatment systems and additional equipment in inventory at its North Charleston headquarters are being shipped this week. According to UNICEF Haiti, the most critical need now is access to safe water, particularly in light of the cholera outbreak in the country.
Water Mission is accepting donations now to serve Haitians devastated by Hurricane Matthew.
