Charleston Maker Break: Cocktails and Candles May 27 at Candlefish
5/22/2017 1:40:54 PM

Learn how aroma plays a major factor in the enjoyment of beverages while the Cocktail Bandits lead you through the how-to's of creating their signature Peninsula Tea Cocktail. Once the drinks have been mixed, an expert Candlefish chandler will lead you through another sensory experience and create one essential oil candle evoking the same fragrance notes as the Cocktail Bandits' craft cocktail.

Each guest will take home one cocktail recipe card, one tea package, one palmetto rose garnish, one complimentary mini bottle of Firefly Sweet Tea Vodka and one pass to the Firefly Distillery.  All candles need to set overnight and will be available for pick up at Candlefish the following day during normal business hours.

As always, all workshop participants receive 15% off in store merchandise the day of their class.  Workshops are BYOB and all glassware and bottle openers are provided.

Cocktail Bandits

Johnny Caldwell and Taneka Reaves are the dynamic duo known around the globe as the curly-haired Cocktail Bandits. The full-time Charleston Ambassadors met at the College of Charleston, and now, with their booming hospitality business and self-titled Cocktail Bandits blog, promote female empowerment through advocacy for the food and beverage community from a feminine, urban perspective.

The curly ladies, who talk cocktails daily, educate and entertain their growing blog audience through their own original cocktail recipes, promoting the craftsmanship of other bar professionals and sharing their experiences at foodie events all around the Holy City and beyond.

Candlefish was opened at 71 Wentworth St. in Charleston, SC by the experienced candle makers who created Rewined Candles.  Our Chandlers (candle makers) are experts in all things candles. Candlefish aims to share our illuminating experiences of candle-making through scent, touch, and sight. Instilling memories both old and new, Candlefish is an inspiration destination.
