Another record turnout is expected for the 4th Annual Dream Girls Conference, which is scheduled for March 18, 2017 from 9am - 3 pm at Cathedral of Praise, 3790 Ashley Phosphate Rd in North Charleston, SC.  The grassroots event far surpassed its first year goal of 300 attendees in 2014 and still continues to attract over 1,200 girls from 60 cities across SC and other states annually.

This year’s conference is featuring Recording Artist and Stellar Award Winner, Jakalyn Carr, whose hit song is “You’re Bigger”.

This dynamic conference is filled with impacting messages, motivational workshops, college information, music, food and fun. These events are specifically designed for middle and high school girls to empower them with strategies and resources to help them make wise decisions, enhancing their mental, social, spiritual, physical and emotional well-being.  Workshops will also be presented for parents and youth leaders. Participants can register on line at

“This conference is designed to infuse middle and high school girls with HOPE and VISION for their lives by giving them opportunities to hear the life stories and experiences of those who overcame incredible obstacles in order to reach their highest dreams,” says Roslin Fields, Executive Director of Youth Empowerment Services. “Our evaluations told us that the public has been waiting for this type of event for youth, especially girls, for years. Attendees tell us they appreciate the straight-forward message of empowerment for girls. They were pleased to find such a quality conference that was both reasonably priced and conveniently located here in the Lowcountry. We are pleased to see the growth each year,” she says.

The registration fee is only $15.00 per person and this includes a Continental breakfast, a full lunch by Sticky Fingers Restaurant and all conference materials. Door prizes will be awarded, including a $500.00 Gift Certificate for Rooms To Go. To register or for more information, visit
